Mezzo Playtest Released

Alright folks, the first draft of the play test document is out and can be found here.  For those new to the blog, Mezzo is a collaborative rpg the focuses on emergent characters, narrative arcs, and a fast and light play style.  I’ll be checking out for play testers later this week.  If anyone has any suggestions or would like to play test this let me know.

Edit: Mezzo is now in the second round of playtesting. The revised playtest document can be found here.

  1. I think playtesting for any independent game is going to be slow. People naturally hesitate over an unknown or less-known commodity, and RPGs are little nitch hobby books in the first place. Best to track down a few via personal invitation, see what they say, then track down a few more.

Also, I’ve found that short of advertising, word of mouth is your best friend. Good luck and hang in there!
